Pastor Honore and Treasure Muyaka are the founders of Called Church and are passionate about building a Christ-centered community rooted in discipleship, fellowship, and lasting fruit. Now based in Houston, TX, they are committed to creating spaces where people can grow in faith, encounter God, and walk confidently in their calling.
Honore was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has spent most of his life serving in ministry alongside his family under the leadership of his father, Pastor Felix Muyaka Kawanga. He helped serve and plant churches throughout Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Louisiana. Before stepping into pastoral ministry, Honore traveled nationally as a Christian artist and minister, sharing the Gospel through music and creative ministry.
Treasure, originally from Baton Rouge, has a deep love for people, community, and serving alongside her family. Together, she and Honore are raising their daughter Zoe while building ministry, pursuing entrepreneurship, and embracing every season of faith with joy and purpose.
Their heart is simple: love God, love people, and help others live out their God-given calling.
